Snake Plant, Mother-in-Law's Tongue (Sansevieria trifasciata)

How cute!

Oh ... I just had to stop and take a photo and the nice gentleman whose yard in which this plant is residing was thrilled that I did. Melvin has decorated his plants for the holidays. I am taking some more photos of plants adorned with Christmas decorations that sort of typify Christmas in central and southern Texas. I hope I do not offend anyone. You know with political correctness, religious correctness, etc. abounding, I hesitated to post this photo. I hope I am not beaking any rules. Perhaps I should check with Dave first. I was going to post a plastic bag filled with paper pumpkin (the kind people sit in their yards as Halloween decorations) photo in the Plants Identification forum on Halloween as a Halloween "trick". I had a really neat description of the pumpkin species that I needed identified, but decided that someone might be offended. Sometimes I do become a little wacky.

I thnk most of us enjoy having fun with pictures and I doubt you are wacky...You do have a great sense of humor, though!

Susan, I try to have a positive attitude and being the only girl child in a family of nine, I had to have a sense of humor to survive.

I come from a large family, too (seven of us kids) but luckily I have 2 sisters. Wouldn't trade them for anything. I regret that I only had one child, because she has no siblings. I feel really guilty about it sometimes. (My husband only wanted one, so we could afford to send her to college, etc, which we did...but still I have my remorse at times.)

I too have only one child due to having medical problems when I was 30 and was lucky to have had her. My first awful husband gave me an invaluable gift. I do have 4 stepchildren, but they do not live here. I know how you feel.
