Sunday, Dec. 14th, 2003

Our church cancelled services for today due to the snow. I doubt our pastor can even get to the church. He lives out in the country and has no 4WD vehicles. Much of the congregation lives in rural areas too. Our van is still at the machine shed so we wouldn't be going anywhere. Oh we still have Old Reliable but she doesn't have a heater that does much if anything. Kyle is to come up today sometime
today and get the van to the house for us. Maybe he'll even clear the drive for us if he uses the tractor instead of his GEO Tracker. Often our drive is the major hurtle to us getting out in winter.

Our friend who is getting the meat this morning is still in K.C. I just talked to her and she is hoping to leave there about 10 this morning. I told her I see lots of traffic on our road so she should be able to get here. Again the drive is the problem. Maybe I'll try to break a path with Old Reliable. If I can make with OR our friend should be able to do it ok. I just realized I only have to get to where Kyle goes in & out with his vehicle and he has a path packed to the end of the drive.
