I have a plant like that... they look like little tiny daisy's! Do you happen to have any cactus seeds or any cutting from your strawberry cactus?!?!?!

Piedmont, MO(Zone 6a)

Hi deepfrog. Might be Threadleaf Groundsel ( Senecio douglasii) but the picture does not show enough leaf and flower detail to be sure. Why don't you post it in the identification forum? Good luck.

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9b)

deepfrog17,
Nice photo of the cactus in full bloom, one of my favorite flowers.
Except that I am pretty sure that this is Echinocereus coccineus instead.

According to the USDA site, E. triglochidiatus does not occur in Wayne County, Utah.
Here's a list of the Echinocereus that are in Utah:
http://plants.usda.gov/java/stateSearch?searchTxt=echinocereus&searchType=Sciname&stateSelect=US49&searchOrder=1&imageField.x=35&imageField.y=6

Here's where E. coccineus occurs:
http://plants.usda.gov/java/county?state_name=Utah&statefips=49&symbol=ECCOC

These two species get mixed up frequently.
Would you like your photo moved to the E. coccineus page?

Xeno.
