I am Worried !!

I am very uneasy and worried about having a two year old male dog neutered! We have always had females, so never have run up against this sort of a problem.

After the neutering....does his personality change?? Is he the same frisky, fun loving doggie as he was before??

When we got Lucky from the rescue place, we agreed to have him neutered, but now have second thoughts about the whole thing. I hate to put him through such a traumatic experience, and am fearful he will change! DH and I want his personality to remain as it is now. He is so dear and fun to have around. He certainly won't have any opportunity
to breed, since we don't have another dog, and he lives in the house with us and NEVER goes out without being on the leash.

Would appreciate hearing from others who have experienced this with their pet!!!
