Can you tell me about this plant? I have these seed pods all over this plant from the blooms but don't know about how to save them for plants next yr or if this plant will come back. I live in middle GA. Thanks!!!

Me too! I grew one of these, and lots of pods formed but fell off within a few days of the flower dying!

I am sorry that I did not respond to your questions sooner. I save the seed pods after they have dried out. Because it is warm here for quite some time, the pods have time to dry on the plant. If the plant dies before the pods completely dry, you might try saving the pods over the winter, breaking the pods open and planting the seeds when the weather warms up. Hopefully, the seeds will be viable. Here, these plants come up from seeds that have been dispersed in the summer and fall. The plants do not survive the winter. Wash your hands after handling the pods.

Thank you!
