Christmas Cactus, Holiday Cactus, Zygocactus (Schlumbergera x buckleyi)

Love it! I think the way the edges have turned purple is pretty, however, looks like too much sun. May want to be careful. You could end up with a half baked plant.

Hi CB! I believe the purple leaves is from the temperature change and cold. Most of my succulents turn this color in the winter because they live outside all year. The sun it gets is filtered from the screened roof of the patio so I don't think it is getting too much sun. It has put on a ton of new growth since it flowered this past December so it seems very happy. I look forward to seeing your pics!

Sounds great and makes sense...my one BIG one in the office here is flowering right now. The other big one in the living room is also flowering right now. I took pictures of them and I am hoping to get them developed soon and then scan them. No luck with the digital camera. I'll post them soon!

I finally got pictures of all my cactus and of my small jade plant. I am going to take a picture of the large one, but I ran out of film. Anyway, Enjoy!

Cont. 3 This is a small cactus that I have. It already bloomed this year and it's just green, but it's one of them!

Hi Clare, I've been meaning to tell you just how cool this CC is. The sun colored leaves are just beautiful. These are another obsession I have. Have a great day. Susan

LOL, thanks, Susan. I like the purple foliage too.
