Starting tibouchina from seed

I think I just discovered some seed on my tibouchina urvilleana. Has anyone ever tried to grow tibouchina from seed? I have always had great luck growing them from cuttings so don't know if I'll bother to try the seed but am very curious since I had never seen seed pods on them before. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

It should be sown on the surface of the compost and not covered. And put it in a temperature about 65-70 degrees F. It requires light.
This is mine. Tibouchina urvilleana 'Little Angel'
Good luck!!

Thanks for the info! I couldn't find much. That is a beautiful pink variety, goldenfish, that I have never seen before. I have the common purple.
