Home Remedy.

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Well- after many months of dealing with hairloss in teh woofers I went out on a limb. (quite literally)
I have tried all sorts of ointments.
I've bathed- I've not bathed.
Oiled and lubed til I wanted to scream.
My dogs still kept loosing hair.
It is now confirmed they have a flea allergy. ( thought that all along.)
Well- the drops work for a while then stop and the fleas come back ten fold.

Here's what I found out.

WoodAsh. Don't ask my why I thought of it but I did.
I went and did a search and found that-
People have been using woodash on animals and themselves for many years to treat- MANGE (in camels)-cuts-scrapes-etc.
I used it and guess what. NO fleas and the hair is growing so fast I cant believe it! (probably the wolf in them there)

WoodAsh+Cornstarch (smell no more bad doggy odour) + Raspberry Tea- make a thin paste apply to affected areas (all over in my case) let dry. Leave on. I have had the dogs in the house less than a week (treating them) and I see such a BEAUTIFUL change it makes me wanna cry. Once the stuff dries most of it flakes off but that seems to be okay, cause it still worked!
Tez has also put on alot of MUCH needed weight!

The cornstarch helps ease itching and deodorizes too! :-D

Have not read anything saying it's harmful as of yet- but I'm still checking.
I wanna thank god and the internet for this- it takes more than a load off my mind- it makes my heart sing.

I also ordered some tea tree oil off ebay, spent 2.50 for one dram- talked to a friend online (in aussie) she said she has loads of it laying around- would have sent it to me for like postage (mad at myself here, that would have saved me well, Tom anyway, MUCHOS money! LOL) TTO is used to treat cuts and all sorts of other ailments. Here I go- doing it the natural way- love Jocie!
