I've been searching the web for some of the old fashioned heirloom type fragrant petunias that come true from seed. I'm not sure if they are considered 'climbing' or 'vining'. I purchased seed 2 years ago and they were very vigorous, bloomed early, and were great on a deck or trained up a trellis. Unfortunately, I didn't collect seed! Does anyone know where I can purchase seed, or does anyone have seed they would like to trade? I have lots of trading material. Just click on my name to visit my homepage where you can click on my tradelist.
Old Fashioned Vining Petunias Wanted
Select seeds have a couple varieties of heirloom petunias, which I've always been tempted by.

The new Seed Savers catalog also lists "Old Fashioned Vining Petunias":

Maybe I will give them a try this year.

I got some seed last yr. from SSE and I grew them in a hanging basket. They did trail somewhat but I don't know if they vine or climb. I really grew them for the fragrance and my granny used to have this kind.I'm sorry I can't share my seeds with you as I already traded them.
