Mount Angel, OR(Zone 8a)

Hello farmers and farm wives,
Rainy here today so lots of various projects and chores can be done. Hubby replaced a back door and two windows. So we are sanding and refinishing the trim for these items. We have aluminum siding on the house which makes it a bit more complicated to change windows. Hubby took the back siding off and brought it into the shop. I have been playing with paint. It is yellow now and has been for the last 25 years. So I am going to paint. There is some rust stain from our iron in the well. Those sprinklers in the summer when watering my gardens have left its mark. So I saw a house painted a gorgeous red. Not fire engine red but more of a brick or tile red. Will trim in a color called adobe tan and then paint my doors in a green. Undecided on that color of green yet. Might sound silly but I have actually lost sleep trying to figure out color.

Cleaned out my pantry where I store my canned goods. I am the queen of clutter. Feels good to get a bit organized.

This afternoon, hubby and I are headed into Salem about 20 miles away to do a bit of Christmas shopping and catch a movie and dinner. Celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary today.

Take care all, God Bless. Joann

Hope everybody's critters are doing better. Sorry KathyJo about the little goat.
