It's just started freezing up these past few days, and I have to shut it down by flipping the switch. Then, when I click it on again, (when it gets bent out of shape because of improper shut down,) it freezes again while its supposed to be checking files for errors! Once in a while I can managed to use the machine for 5 minutes or so, it does it again. (I am typing this fast before it decides its time to repeat!) Wondered what to do? I tried emailing Compaq help desk for assistance, it freezes when I click on send! (It doesn't seem to want me to tell on it! Tomorrow I plan on calling them, unless someone else has gone through this and can give any advice. thanks, Doris
