Bambi, they are looking great. I'll bet you are getting anxious for that first Y and then blooms. Have you had brugs before now? I can't seem to get enough of them...not numbers, I just love them. Hope you will keep us updated on yours.

Are you going to plant them in those beds? I bet a forest of them will look so grand. They look ready to be transplanted.

I can't wait to see them bloom! Do you think they're ready for the ground? My plan is to have a huge brug forest! I got my first cutting this summer & I've been addicted ever since. Yesterday I got a sangiunia (sp) from Hortus Botanicus! I think I must have at least 40 cuttings & I still can't stop!

How cold will it get there Bambi? You don't want those little babies getting chilled. If you don't get a frost at all or even get below 40, most will do fine. The versicolors won't like getting even that cool. Especially if it is for an extended period of time.

I think the coldest it ever gets in la la land is about 40.

You should be okay to plant then. Bet it will be beautiful.

Great picture! It looks like you have a nice planting area there. I've been tempted by Sanguinea too, but I've heard it is too warm here for it to bloom. I don't think B. Sanuinea likes temperatures over 70. Have you checked to see if it will bloom in your area?

Yes Bambi, I can see that you are obsessed like the rest of us. There is always room for more addicts . . lol

They look ready to me to plant. And they will put in a nice root system to take off fast in spring. mine outside are doing great even after getting freezer burn. All new growth and where you are it is warmer. Go for it. Give yourself enough room between them though for they will get huge!! I would mix in some nice compost. I used that steer manure and compost mix HD has for 99 cents and they seemed to love it.

Bambi,

you surely have beautiful babies. Hope they grow healthy and strong!

They look good! You may plant them if you wont get any frost (I wish, I could say the same about my place).
