It sure is pretty Clare. I've not tried this one. Must give it a shot one day.

Thanks, Brugie. If I can ever get cuttings to root, I'll let you know. I have not been successful so far with rooting cuttings of this one.

I've not had good luck with most passifloras. Right now I'm waiting on a couple of cuttings of Incense to root. One will do it, I'm sure. The other one is iffy still. I've almost decided that it is less stressful to just let them freeze and order new the next spring. LOL!

LOL! I hear that! It's so depressing when they collapse or rot! I'm going to give up trying for now and try again in the spring. Maybe the warmer weather will help. If you do buy another Incense, you can look for "suckers" that come up from the bottom next summer. If you pull on those, they are much easier to root as separate plants and often come up with some roots attached. I think I'll try layering in the spring for some of mine if I can't find any "suckers."

Will try to remember that. Thanks. I did dig up the whole plant so I will have one next year but just thought I'd try to root some anyway. I guess when I whack on them to keep them contained, I think I need to make use of what I cut off. Thanks again.

Brugie, I do that too. That's great that you have at least one cutting rooting and that you have your original plant. My friend Don over at GardenWeb seems to have no problem rooting Passiflora cuttings in water in his greenhouse. I'm not sure what his secret is, and he's not telling, but I think heat is the key.

I can root Belotti with no problem at all. It is about the only one though. Maybe I better go to GW and see what is going on. It is very quiet here tonight. Have a good one.
