Well, I was taking glam-shots for my webpage :-)
fern pics
i want some of all of em! those are really great looking ferns!
I LOVE your fern pictures, even if they do make me turn green with envy. I only brought two ferns with me when I moved from Miami, and I have no idea what they are. One we call the "Jurassic" fern, it just has the longest fronds, and seems to grow in a tiny pot with no dirt. It sat under a Mango tree and seems to have built it's own soil from the leaves. The other is just normal size, frilly and cute, and named "Jan" after the beauty shop where I bought her from a plant peddler. I hope they do well under the Oak trees here. I had to leave behind a Bird's Nest fern that was 5'1" tall. Hope you share more pix with us.

Drew, when you have some for sale on the site, email me!
me 2!!!!
ok... april 2004
i'll have 70 or so types of ferns on my page.
mostly herbs and pelargoniums currently....
that or TIG, you should stop by sometime... I have an herb festival with garden talks, organic gardens, etc etc the last saturday of every march.
last year we had a good 80-90 people out for the day.
should do a roundup in the area for that :P
How about an address for the site? I don't know where to go without some help here. LOL!!
I want some of your ferns too. I will be ready for them when you are ready to send them in the spring. I will send you an email now. Thanks, Robbie
Drew, I'll try my best to be there. are you going to have any australian tree ferns? put my name on one.
shirley, click on his name and there's a link to his nursery.
Thanks tiG.
I have a airy climbing fern-might you know the name? I just love it!
It has thorns too!!!
climbing fern... genus Lygodium no doubt.
be wary of sending that fern to anyone in the southlands, as it is a VERY invasive weed in my neck of the woods.
and I apologize for the wretched look of my website, we have a new site designed and are just putting on the finishing touches.
Drew
yeah Tig, I grow about 300 australian tree ferns in the spring for 4inch pot sales... I generally hold over 100 or so for the following spring for 3gallon pot sales.
so there.
Drew
Those fern pics are gorgeous. Just what I needed on a 32 degree morning. :)
Drew, do you have a source for Lygodium japonica 'Japanese climbing fern'? I want one in the worst way!
Tig, come to my farm and dig one up.
you really don't want one... they will take over, and I mean they will spore out, and twine around everything, they make bindweed looks like kids play.
drew
I'm coming this spring, and that's no joke! yes, I do really want one, I have to learn my own lessons! LOL!!
ok, i'll try to remember not to spray them with roundup this spring :-)
Hi Drew
Your ferns are loverly. I love fern and I'm in the process of collecting more. Bonnie, the tree fern is on my list also. Bonnie, how far is Willacoochee from our local?
Cindy
it's less than 3 hours Cindy, maybe we can ride together!
deeproots, i love ur pics... beautiful! i just bought a maidenhair fern and plan on planting it on the shady side of my little barn.. it will get sun in the morning then around 1030 to 11am it will be shaded from the hot sun.. but the temps will still be pretty high in the hottest time of summer.. up to 115 degrees... will this fern be ok with that kind of heat? or do u think i may need to put misters on them during those weeks? to give them humidity since its more of a dry heat out here.. any info would be great... i am just now getting into the different ferns since this is the only shady spot i have right now... (: thanx
chrissy
