Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

Beautiful photo of the girls they must take after you!!!
You should be proud as a peacock!! What are the flowers?

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Laurrie, those are Texas Bluebonnets. They grow wild here in the Spring and are the Texas state flower. My daughter took their picture along the roadside near New Braunfels.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

I can recall some of those roadside pictures that we took with the bluebonnets. Some years they are absolutely beautiful and some years they are somewhat sparse.

Mini, you have a beautiful family and thank you for sharing all the photos with us.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Thanks for sharing with us.

Root: We have two sons also, no girls. Don't think anybody cares...... I did! Wanted a girl so bad!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Sylvia, your daughters are very lovely. I too was bless with three beautiful daughters. Boy did they give us a run for our money. I was sure glad when they all finally got married.

Patricia

Such beautiful girls!!!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Root, I would think every sane mother would lock her girls inside if your sons were loose! That is if you had them and if they took after you! LOL

LOL Kell!
Ya know Kell.. I have an aunt and a few cousins in California... if you end up missing some of your plants/whole yard.... it wasnt them. :o)

I will give them cuttings Shelly! No need to take the whole plant! LOL

Sure with those Blue Bonnets would grow in my yard, but they don't like to germinate well. I've only had four or five of them come up and they won't re-seed. Guess you will just have to travel the road sides and get pictures of them for me this spring. LOL!!

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

lol Kell! You are so kind!!

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Shirley, wish I could find some of the pictures of our property where we lived before we moved back to San Antonio. We had 11 acres with a sendero in front of our house. If we had a lot of rain in late Winter, our sendero was solid bluebonnets. One year they took pictures of it for the newspaper.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Okay Sylvia, keep looking!! LOL. I'll bet that was amazing even tho I don't know what a sendero is.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

that is 2 of us Brugie! LOL

I dont either.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

The literal translation is footpath, but it actually is a clearing through a wooded area. Our property was heavily wooded and the previous property owner had evidently cleared a large opening at the front of the property for grazing. I've looked everywhere for the pictures, but have a feeling they were lost in the flood of 3 yrs. ago. When we moved, our daughter took a lot of our pictures, etc. to her house to keep until we were situated in our new home. Her home was flooded before we ever got our pictures back and a lot of our pictures washed away in the flood, including pictures of my grandparents. She lost just about everything she owned. The only thing she found untouched was her Bible. It was floating on top of a box. Isn't that unbelievable?
