When my Dad was courtin' and sparkin' my Mom, he won me and my brothers over with watermelon!
Apparently he won my Mom over with what he called "tomato gravy". She loved it! Ranted about it! I think it may have been served on rice or other side dishes.
It sure sounds like a sauce of some kind to me, however, does anyone out there know if there is a real difference between the two (sauce vs gravy)? What makes it a gravy? Also, has anyone else made this and, if so, would you please come forth with your recipe?
