hi everyone! -- im new here, posted a couple times and have just now seen that theres a welcome forum. haha.

so i just wanted to say hi, and say that im so excited to learn all this stuff. i THOUGHT i knew a lot, but compared to everyone here, my knowledge is ssoo basic! im in lubbock texas,in my 3rd year of college. my apartment is overrun with potted plants, im sure my roommates think they live in a jungle.

ive always loved gardening, but recently ive become so addicted to this, Garden Web, and buying seeds on ebay that its insane! so i hope everyone has a lovely day-- stay warm and hope to talk to/learn from you soon! Susanne

Susanne - welcome! One helpful thing, so others know where you're from is to update your Location and gardening zone. If you go to Preferences, then along the left side, there is an item for location, I believe.

You'll find that this is a good group of people, very generous with trades, knowledge and camraderie.

Are you going to Texas Tech? I went to UT-Austin several years ago for graduate school.
