I realize that growing citrus from seed is not the same thing as buying a grafted tree and all that, so I wonder if anyone would have use for seeds. Is there any interest in seeds from citrus fruits? I don't have any prepared right at the moment, but can start to save them. They would be from "Rio Red" grapefruit, "Dancy" tangerine, "Eureka" lemon, and "Meyer Improved" lemon.
Citrus Seeds
I saved seeds from Clementine tangerines a couple of years ago and planted a few. Had a couple of nice trees that first year that got to about two foot tall. I sent one to my BIL in Texas and last year he said it was about six foot tall and very thorny. No fruit, but interesting that it would grow that fast. The one I kept didn't survive because I didn't bring it back inside.
