Citrus Seeds

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

I realize that growing citrus from seed is not the same thing as buying a grafted tree and all that, so I wonder if anyone would have use for seeds. Is there any interest in seeds from citrus fruits? I don't have any prepared right at the moment, but can start to save them. They would be from "Rio Red" grapefruit, "Dancy" tangerine, "Eureka" lemon, and "Meyer Improved" lemon.

Kelli I would definetely be interested

Citrus seeds must be kept moist or they will not germinate if dry.

In that case, I will not be trading citrus seeds.

Kelli, I would still like to try some of your Meyer's Improved Lemon seeds. Isn't this a dwarf lemon tree? I know I have grown Calamondin orange trees from dry seeds before. What are you looking for in trade? I am hunting a dwarf lemon treeling or seeds to start a tree with for my son. He loves lemons and I thought I would grow one for him to enjoy in our greenhouse porch.

Most of my citrus are on dwarf stock, so they are all kind of short, but the Meyer lemon is the smallest. A SASE in exchange is fine. E-mail me and I'll send you my address.
