Ah, nice picture. I donīt see this plant for years. I had one, around 7-8 years ago, it had more orange flowers, and bloomed abundantly. Gotta love that "plastic" look of the leaves. My plant died by terrorist aphids attack.

What a beautiful!!! Japanese Scutellaria (Scutellaria indica) is blue flower. I've never seen this color. Thank you for sharing!!

Thanks goldenfish, if you have a nice photo of S. indica you should add it to the PDB. I have seen it growing and it is an attractive alpine. S. costaricana is a tropical herb and will reach almost 1.5 metres in height, although in pots half this height seems normal. Its only fault is a tendency to get leggy, so it needs cutting back periodically.
