Pink Coleus?

Fort Pierce, FL(Zone 10a)

I am looking for the name of a truly PINK Coleus. Also one that is more purple or lavender. Do they grow in these colors? I want the pink to grow in a container with Spanish Shield. Any help will be appreciated.

Check www.coleusfinder.org -- you can search by color and leaf shape, very helpful website.

Gosh, that site is amazing. I could look around there for some time and never see the same coleus twice.

I found my pink coleus "Maria" here;

It is an amazing site and of course I'm like a kid in a candy store, "one of those and one of those and one of those, etc., etc., etc."
WARNING - COLEUS ARE ADDICTIVE!!!!!! LOL

Patischell, you should look at the Garden Watchdog.

Thanks so much Kell. I had no idea what the Garden Watchdog was. After reading about Glasshouse Works, I hope my experience falls on the positive side! They truly have the most beautiful Coleus and I would like to order from them again. We'll see!!!

We saw some really nice Coleus in Japan over the summer. This one was one of my favorites. The picture hasn't been enhanced. It is truly that bright.

Let us know how they are, I would like to order some this spring also.

There was some online store talked about on here where you could buy a flat of coleus (or other plants) or mix and match a flat with different kinds for a decent price. I wish I could remember which one it was.

Kell, if you remember let me know. I hope by the time these are growing well I will have mastered my digital camera and can post some pictures. I LOVE Coleus, my second love is Caladiums. I will be visiting the Caladium FIELDS (can you imagine!) in Lake Placid FL for the Caladium festival in August.

I gather you like lots of gaudy color! Me too! LOL What kind of camera did you get? I need a new one desperately! Take lots of pics at that caladium feast for us!

It may have been a coop that was here. And I remember I went to the nursery site and they also would sell to individuals. You mix or match a flat. I had tons picked out but then got sidetracked. I bet someone will read this and remember!

Pati, I've been planting our wintertime flowers like crazy the past couple of weeks.. Was in HD this morn and was surprized to see a few Coleus other then the garden types always offered.. They are unnamed but for 2.00 for a gallon plant I did not complain! Here is a fun pink.
Chris that one is beautiful!

STOP,STOP, I'm hyperventilating! LOL I think this is an addition that can't be satisfied. I have an eVision Clearview camera that was offered as an AOL special about a year ago. I have finally mastered the picture taking, but the problem starts when I put them into my MGI Photosuite 4. It's not the program, it's ME. I have stuff saved all over the place and most of the time I never see it again! About twice a year my grandson comes and sorts everything out and gives me the folder, file, etc lecture and everything is great...for a while! He's due for a visit next week, so there's hope you may get to see my Coleus yet!
