Looks like some sort of Kalanchoe indeed. I thought of Kalanchoe brasiliensis, an easy tropical that lives in any kind of soil, as long as it's given lots of sun and heat. They call it "Fortune Leaf" around here, because it's said to bring luck to the house where it's planted.

carribean love leaf.... sounds like a plant in the Cannabis genus.

do a google on it, download some Bob Marley and make a night of it.

i have one of these plants. they are in the kalanchoe family. if you take a leaf off the plant and lay it on a damp napkin, or on top of some soil, babies will root and grow from around the edges of the plant.

this plant if not mistaken is commonly known as mother of thousands. they spread and multiply fast!

actually it's technically not the mother of thousands (i have one of those too). those grow babies along the leaf edges while the leaf is still on the plant. with the love leaf, the babies grow when the leaf is taken off the plant.

i've grown Kalanchoe varieties for nearly 30 yrs. my mother likes 'em. i don't! i find them to be very invasive.
