Musa fell over ?

This morn I noticed that the tallest musa was leaning over. It is about 6-7' tall and the one that bloomed. The bloom is now finished and the stalk which is about 1" thick has a bend in it. I staked it back up, will it survive? Do they die back after blooming?
It is the musa 'african red'

Candee, Yes they do .. Cut it back halfway and the pups will start to grow like crazy....
