Please tell me the difference between feverfew....

Denver, CO(Zone 6a)

Can someone please tell me the difference between

feverfew (Matricaria capensis)

and feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium)

Thanks,
Mobi

They are one and the same plant. Tanacetum parthenium is the current name, Matricaria capensis is one of the synonyms it was known by.

Thank You!
I thought they were the same but I needed clarification.

Dough,

It is a perennial. :) (At least in zone 5 it is)

Karrie I'll pop some in with the Cucs. Only use a leaf or two at a time, Feverfew isn't one to over indulge in!

Dough, it is a perennial but often acts as a self seeding annual where it's not keen on the climate and soil conditions

Thanks Ba!
