How easy is this to grow from seed. I have seed for this and I'm just wondering if it has any special needs or likes and dislikes. I love this plant and I hope that mine will turn out as nice as this one. Any advise will be helpful

I dont know mark. when I look it up, there is an x under the species, whatever that means.

the x means it is a hybrid. Try to use it when refering to it. I see it is hardy in zones 7-10 which includes me. http://www.yuccado.com/displayone.php?ytitle=Hedychium%20x%20'Kinkaku'

It is very pretty and very easy to grow. I do prefer the white butterfly, although I have both. The white butterfly has a stronger scent, but this one is prettier, I think.
