Hi everyone - hope everyone is doing well. I'm back in the swing of things - drinking extra water, low carbs. More and more, it is starting to feel like a habit, rather than a diet. Bummer that it is going so slowly, but I'll try to remember, the hardest earned victory may be the one that lasts the longest, too. It does bother me when I see coworkers who started dieting recently make the progress in a few weeks that I have since August.
Unfortunately, eating well didn't show on the scale today, but I am getting to I know my eating habits well enough that a pound and a half gain doesn't bother me because I ate just fine yesterday (unless this is the final residuals from Friday's feast).
Anyway, all is going well here. Hsve to attend an awards banquet for Doug's daughter, who is a cheerleader, so of course there will be the wrong food, but I am filling up on extra water before I leave, so hopefully I can just pick at my meal and boycot any bread or dessert.
