Shoot this man on sight!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I tried but he ducked!!!

Oh what a terrible day here. We are moving my trees from the front to the back to the hoophouse. My DH is a man on a mission. He was being brutal. Terrorizing me and my brugs. He is going so fast and my yard is bursting with trees and bushes, so he is rubbing the brugs against them all as he takes them back. There are parts of brugs all the way along the path. He was in such a hurry to see some dumb game that just started. I had to get hysterical to get him to cease and desist! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

Do you think this is a good time to ask him to start digging my bruglings out of my brug garden to pot them up??

my DH said probably not a good time :)

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Nope this would not be a good time........I say this from experience.......my DH is not always a happy camper when it come to his wants and my needs to do. ........LOL.......bet there are alot more out there just like'um....

For the health and safety of my big pots and plants I got myself a good sized hand truck with big wheels. It is amazing how easily you can move these big guys with the right tool. :-)

DH sometimes needs to help wiggle them onto the base of the handtruck and help stabilize the pot....but I do the driving. Saves a lot on the hysteria and my inclination to scream and wail.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Yep not a good time. Men hate our HoneyDo lists

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

My DH always offers his help to repot seedings. When he is finished, most of the tags are missing or are located in the wrong pot.For that reason, I prefer to do it myself and have him do the cooking LOL!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I don't even ask. My brugs are much safer that way.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Kell this probably is not a good time to ask him that. Geez I can't believe he digs them for you. He can't be to bad.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Everyone thinks I have the "perfect" husband, and I am first to admit he is,almost........until he starts to dig somethinmg for me(tromps on everything close by), move something inside,(doesn't see doorways too narrow, ceilings too low), so my plants get a trim job, before they even get where they are going. Most men are the same, only see tunnel vision, when it is your plants. etc. I'd rather do it myself!

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

My DH hasn't touched my brugs yet, boy can he make a mess of my daylilies. Everytime he sets foot in a flowerbed for anything he manages to stomp on at least one and break it off at the crown. He just doesn't understand that daylilies don't come back if the crown is broken off. On second thought, maybe he does, and he is just wanting to get rid of a few. lol

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Hold on Gals,I get to do all moving here,it's my hobby,or labor of love.I am just lucky Monica does not gripe as the house gets filled!
Come on Kell,it's college play offs!!!Maybe you need to go to Radioshack, get a 100' coaxil cable,a small TV in the back corner of the hoophouse,Wa La, problem solved~

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I just came in and he told me he was watching Stanford vs UC Berkeley. My kid was at the game, so my DH said he was watching for him. Oh right! LOL

I still want him dead.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Ahhhh Kell ... you just gotta love him. Ask him tomorrow with a smile way before any games are to come on.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Treat him right Kell....there aren't very many like him out there. He must love you bunches to do all he does for you!!! I have a wonderful DH that helps everywhere he can when it comes to my plant obsessions. But today is College Football Day and I know better than to even think of asking! (He would help if I asked, that's how good he is) You're very lucky to have Tom and all the hard work he does to help you! I sure don't look forward to all the back-breaking work (alone) that has to be done!

How bout them Sooners???? Yeah!!!

Brinda :)

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

How about them Wolverines!!!! Yeah!!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

LOL Yep.....my son is a Michigan fan! (We will be in trouble if the Sooners and the Wolverines went to the Sugar Bowl.) DH was happy that Michigan won....he is not a Ohio State fan!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

We WERE!

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

Kell-----if I had a man who would dig my brugs up,-build my hoop house---and tote my brugs,-- I think I would take massage classes, and put a crown on his head come football season.

Ellabell, GA(Zone 8a)

Don't shoot him! Remember, all that needs to be moved back out when the weather warms up again, LOL.

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

Kell, mine would win the prize for the biggest whiner when it is time to take things up to the g'house. Only I have to take my stuff up there with the tractor and end loader!! Distance-wise, my g'house is probably a city block away from my house and all the plants! When it was calling for frost this year, I started moving things up there myself after milking. I couldn't do it before because I had to be running HIS combine during the day, then milking HIS cows after that. Then after milking I had to help DS when he went to the field to bring home 2 wagons with corn in. DS said please, mom, can you come and help me get hooked up, so I don't have to get in and out of the truck 50 times in the dark to get hitched to the wagons?? So, it was 9:30 till I got started. I had 6 loads of plants taken up to the g'house by the time Spouse got done with his corn unloading (and 11:00, I might add). Well, you would have thought the world was coming to an end (and real soon, too....) from the way he was carrying on about it. I said, just help me get the BIG ones loaded (the 100 pounders) and I will finish the rest myself. But, oh, no......he stayed and helped me do the rest, P & M the whole time. We didn't get done till 12:30 am. Jeez, I had about enough of HIM by that time. I ask him for so little, you'd think he'd help me the few times I ask.........I guess I'll keep him, tho, since he did let me have the g'house. :>)

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

I'm with Belinda and playsndirt on this one. I wish I had a DH that would help me when I need it out in the yard, even if he did a little damage. It seems like every year it gets a little harder to do all the digging and totting that always needs to be done.

Bowie, AZ(Zone 8B)

Kell, Just tell him you will tape the games for him to see later.LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I just can't understand why these husbands can't be perfect like we are. You would think their living so close to us for all these years, it would have rubbed off!

LOL Anna, that is it. They do make up for their shortcomings in other areas so we keep them around! Mine did recapture my heart before the weekend was out! So I let him take me out to dinner. LOL
