Good moring, all. It is nice out. Cool, but not uncomfortable. I expect the hunters will be out in mass today. Hopefully they will shoot a lot of does. So far we haven't had to go out ourselves at all. The hunters have been good shots this year.
KathyJo, how is the triple you are hand feeding? I wonder if it was from a second breeding and actually a bit early. That does happen occasionally in the animal world. On the other hand, it may have just not had the room to grow but did develop normally otherwise. If it has done ok so far, it may develop into a perfectly normal animal.
Mary & Lenjo, did you get the terrible temperature changes predicted? I can hardly imagine what that must have been like.
I feel better this morning than I have for nearly 2 weeks. Guess I had a dandy case of intestinal flu. My hip doesn't hurt as badly either so I'm just hanging in there. Perhaps by the time I go to the orthopedist 12/2 I won't need anything done at all. I'll take a healing from the LORD over work done by a doctor anyday.
The crowd at the cafe' wasn't too big last night. And it didn't start until nearly 6 p.m. Then it was steady until after 7:30. The special was ham. Lovely thick slices. And so good!! When something is especially good some of us joke that we can't serve that item. Nope, it must be sent home with employees and fed to their pets. In the meantime we are all nibbling on the item.
I guess I need to get busy and try to make up for some of the work I haven't gotten done in the past 2 weeks.
GOD bless and keep each and all of you.
