Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Well they don't call me Murphy for nuthin.I found out today that after the first of the year I won't be at the Botanical Center anymore. Waterworks is taking over and all the employees are gone.So I'll get shuffled around till they find a place for me.What's next????????LOL

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Kyle just don't look over your shoulder!Keep moving forward!Don't let Murphy catch up!It is their loss, not to have you in this spot,I feel sorry for the city ,I hope they do not shuffle you to far, they may be needing your talent soon, and it may be too late.

Nothin like kickin a guy when he's down.....

So sorry Kyle.....

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Sorry 'bout that Kyle. Seems when you have had about all you can take, you always get dealt a little more! You'll make out ok, you have talent, can be used lots of places, nurseries, garden centers etc. Good luck.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kyle, just wait until they see what the next guy does...it won't be long and they will be begging for you to come back. I know that until that time you will do well at what they choose for you, so hang in there.

Milo, IA(Zone 5a)

Kyle: You have such a superb flair with all the plantings throughout town and at the center, they won't be able to reproduce your talent. I can remember several years back when they were so common plantings, very boring. Keep your chin up, they will be asking for you to come back.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Kyle, I have been reading your posts, and I am so sorry to hear all that is happening. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers every day. I wish there were more words that I could say, but what I say now is truely from the bottom of my heart. Take care!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Kyle I'm so sorry. Try to keep your chin up. You are a very talented man.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Kyle, you have so much knwledge combined with experience and dedication for plants, a combination which is seldom.
Employees like you made bot. gardens in Germany famous.
I hope for you, that they will recoignize it. Keep my fingers crossed for you!

little hadham, United Kingdom

Sorry to hear that, Kyle. All the best for the future!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

I am so sorry Kyle. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

So sorry Kyle, definitely their loss. Life just doesn't seem fair sometimes.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Maybe you will be put somewhere better! It seems that the things that happen regardless of our own life's plan, show us that we really do not have as much control as we may think.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Good luck Kyle = Hope something spectacular happens. you never know

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

UPDATE! The boss says that I will stay on the riverfront gardens(my current area) no water gardens or tropical gardens..but hey! I still got 14 acres of perennial gardens that I love along with a very diverse conifer garden...so all in all it ain't gonna be so bad..just less areas for me to cover.Water works will leave this area intact for the city.

Great news. Will you still have a little greenhouse area to call your own? Glad to hear you won't have any big changes.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

I will have greenhouse space for some tropicals in one house till July 1st.After that they hope to have new range of growing houses for us elsewhere. The big boss still wants tropicals downtown in summer..so I said HEY! no problemo.Things are looking up.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

That is good news. I was worried that you would have to give up some of your beautiful plants.

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)
