Well they don't call me Murphy for nuthin.I found out today that after the first of the year I won't be at the Botanical Center anymore. Waterworks is taking over and all the employees are gone.So I'll get shuffled around till they find a place for me.What's next????????LOL

Sorry 'bout that Kyle. Seems when you have had about all you can take, you always get dealt a little more! You'll make out ok, you have talent, can be used lots of places, nurseries, garden centers etc. Good luck.
Kyle, just wait until they see what the next guy does...it won't be long and they will be begging for you to come back. I know that until that time you will do well at what they choose for you, so hang in there.
Kyle: You have such a superb flair with all the plantings throughout town and at the center, they won't be able to reproduce your talent. I can remember several years back when they were so common plantings, very boring. Keep your chin up, they will be asking for you to come back.

UPDATE! The boss says that I will stay on the riverfront gardens(my current area) no water gardens or tropical gardens..but hey! I still got 14 acres of perennial gardens that I love along with a very diverse conifer garden...so all in all it ain't gonna be so bad..just less areas for me to cover.Water works will leave this area intact for the city.

Great news. Will you still have a little greenhouse area to call your own? Glad to hear you won't have any big changes.
I will have greenhouse space for some tropicals in one house till July 1st.After that they hope to have new range of growing houses for us elsewhere.The big boss still wants tropicals downtown in summer..so I said HEY! no problemo.Things are looking up.
That is good news. I was worried that you would have to give up some of your beautiful plants.
