Yes, Echium wildprettii I think, and well over 2 metres tall!

I'm a big fan of cranesbills, but have never seen this variety! Spectacular! Is it OK for zone 5, I wonder?

Not outside Andrea, it is doubtful hardy even in zone 8, needing a very sheltered spot outside. I have grown it in a cold greenhouse, keeping it dry in winter, and it has survived temperatures just below zero, but it is happier if the temperature stays above 3 degrees centigrade.
