Perennial Blooms second or third year and then successive seasons from expanding clumps. 3 ft. Sun/Shade: full sun. Expect to wait two or three years for any show in your meadow. Blazing star is easy to grow, but must have full sun, sharp drainage, and time. Plant in spring or (best) in fall. Very hardy once established. Etc: Also called ?gayfeather?

And, if this wasn't enough............The peppers are very conspicuous; a dark purple turning to bright red in a never-ending display until frost. Peppers are edible, but VERY HOT. A little goes a long way!
