Good morning, folks!
So sad to hear about that hunter getting killed. My nephew was hunting a few weeks ago and heard bullets whizzing by his head. The three boys that were hunting dropped to the ground and started yelling. They never did find out who was shooting in their direction. There should be some stiff jail sentences for people that shoot at anything that moves. DH and DS have more deer tags for this weekend, but they won't go to the public hunting areas as it sounds like WWIII there. People start shooting in the dark just at sounds. Someone is going to get killed there eventually. I don't know if hunter safety courses help or not, but there really are some stupid people walking around with guns.
Supposed to be a beautiful day today and tomorrow. I shampooed my dads carpets yesterday after work, so they should dry nicely. I'd like to get lots of outside work done, but there are only so many hours in a day. I wish DH wouldn't have put the mower away yet. There are a couple of weed patches that need to get mowed. I'm hoping to get some saplings cut and maybe a lilac bush cut down. The cows always reach over the fence to chew on the lilac and end up ruining the fence. It's gotta go. I think there is an old barbed wire fence laying on the ground right by the newer fence that I need to remove too. I have a vision of how it should look, but have a little trouble getting the vision to be a reality. Again, not enough hours in the day. There is a pile of wood back there to be moved too, once I move a little shed and the loader can get up to it. I don't think DH will have enough time to move the shed this year, but it's going on his 'to do' list. That thing is getting mighty long!!! LOL He keeps saying if I add more stuff to it on the bulletin board, pretty soon it will be hanging all the way to the floor. Yabetcha. LOL One of the things I have on there is for him to teach me to run a chain saw, but he keeps scratching it off and saying NO WAY!!! There is one tree that's pretty close to a high line wire, so I'm not going to try to tackle that until I talk to some of the crew from the rural coop. Maybe one of them will take pity on me and help me get it down.
Better get busy. Take care everyone.
