Hubby got a call from our renter while he was at work today that one of our ewes had her head stuck in the sheep and goat panels at the barn. It was the same ewe that I had to have my husband get out the other morning that I just couldn't budge. So , Hubby couldn't get off work so I was able to. I hurried home to find my same ewe with her head barely stuck in the panel. all she had to do was lower her head a little and back up. Really silly how she was just standing there, just knowing I would show eventually I guess. Took me seconds to get her out.
Bad news here is that a deer hunter was killed on the next farm over yesterday. So sad, seems like trespassers were shooting wildly and he got caught in the crossfire. They come here to hunt from a long way off.
