The stems look funny for a brug.... they look more like datura stems but the leaves don't

Spingsong, I have a couple of cuttings where the leaf development looks similar to yours. I suspect mine is due to exposure to overly cool temperatures (cuttings left outside one day that turned unexpectedly cold).

I am curious to see what the experts say on this. Nat

I have a couple tangerine seedlings from seeds my daughters planted. They look just like the plant you posted.

Were they bonus seeds? Susie often adds in bonus brugs or seeds to an order. I will ask her for you. I know she has lochroma growing.

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

they were rosamond x l'amour seeds but i have gotten alot of seeds from her a seed mix some bert x eventide , and one more pack i can't remember, but i didn't send them to my mothers i sent my special babies to her house, it probably got mixed in by accident i have done it drying them before, so is this Ichocroma a good thing they look very pretty what pictures i have seen. do you think she will want it back?lOL

Iochromas are gorgeous. They are close relatives of Brugmansias, but come in royal blues, purples, and red. They bloom small, but can grow to ten feet or more. Check the Kartuz website for photos. http://kartuz.com

She does Shirley, and she loves them. I didn't get enough satisfaction out of mine for the space and trouble they were. The red bloomed the best for me, but they all got a little stretched looking. I'm sure that was my fault, so I'll save my space for brugs.
