I probably have some seed heads still on mine. I don't usually collect the seeds but haven't cut them down yet either. Just had our first frost 2 nights ago, and not even a hard frost.

Not dumb at all/ Jellito Seeds is one of the best seeds companies in the world. Their catalog is something to keep any gardener warm on a cold winter night with visions of beauty.Stokesia or commonlyt known as Stokesd aster or cornflower aster is like a big cornflower. About 18 inches high hardy to zone 5 comes in shades of yellow white purple and blues mostly If you go to bluestoneperreniels.com you can find a picture of Klaus Jellito Stokesia Bluish purple-very pretty I am actually hunting any stokesias for myself and a friend

marclay... I may have to withdraw my offer, LOL. I DO have this one, but don't think there are any seed heads left. It's dark now, but I will look tomorrow for sure.

I mentally confused this one with Aster dumosus 'Professor Kippenberg' which still has seed heads for sure.
