leaf drop after coming inside

Mableton, GA(Zone 7b)

My whiskers was brought inside the kitchen earlier this week as it was to freeze this morning. It looked great for a day or so but now it is getting droopy (like it does when it's thirsty) and the lower leaves are turning yellow and dropping. I've even lost 2 buds! I checked the soil and it feels slightly moist so I don't see how it would need water. Is this just going to happen? Will I be stuck with sticks all winter even though it is in a window?

Angie, Did you just move a potted brug inside or had you recently dug it up and potted it? If you have just recently dig it up, it is normal for the brug to have a period of shock - but it will adjust and perk up usually within a few days. If the dirt is damp, don't water it!

It is normal for it to drop it's leaves when it is brought inside. It will go through a shock until it gets used to it's new envirement.
I agree with nathalyn, you can mist the leaves but don't overwater. It will grow new leaves once it adjusts.

I brought it in pot and all off the patio. Oh goodie, it will grow new leaves. :) There are 7-10 buds on it that have tendrils showing so I hope they get to open all the way. They've grown further out the calyx(is that the green part that holds the flower?) since yesterday, so I think they will. :) Thanks guys.

I brought a small Whiskers into my office Monday, and two of it's buds have bloomed so far, first bloom looks good for the 5th day! Just try and keep it far from the heat ducts ):

Just had DH close the vent with a broom handle (can't get to it at this point lol). Thanks. :)
