I love photos of plants backlit in which the light shines through. I am not familiar with this plant at all. It is lovely and the photo is super. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! :o) I'm torn between which I adore more - my garden or my digital camera. They certainly compliment each other well.

Clarkia is a nice little low maintenence performer for me - Mine are still trying to eek out blooms in our cool November weather.

I know what you mean about plants and a camera! I like the coloring of this plant's bloom. It is a nice shade of pink and the white accentuates the pink. The petals appear to be delicate the way the loght shows through.

My favorite plant photo with backlighting is this one of the 'Black Magic' elephant ear. The leaf is so dark that one would never inagine it conatined so many colors unless viewing it in this manner.
