Katie FINALLLY had her kittens last night - well, today actually, the first one was born after midnight. She had SIX kittens, no wonder she was as big as a barn! I've thought that every day would be THE day for the last two weeks.
Newborn kittens!
They are all too cute. I esp like that last one! Mother looks happy it is all over!
awww congratulations grandma!! :o) They all are so sweet looking! Tell momma she did good!
Wow, what a mom. I will take two dark tiger. Love kitties.
Have always had dark tiger cats, named them all Tiger, so I wouldn't have to remember so many different names.
This is her second litter! My DH rescued Katie with her four kittens the middle of August. The kittens were about six weeks old at that time, and they had been abandoned at a construction dumpsite. We were in the process of getting them all spayed when we realized that Katie was pregnant again.
having kittens is as fun as having seedlings! You got a great mix of colors too! Only 1 white one! And just think, you can name them all! LOL
The cream one looks like a piglet with that crease in her nose.
They are so precious. I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one who sat in a closet for hours helping delivery kittens. Moms beautiful to. Calicos are my favorite.
Thank you Ronna for the beautiful pictures. the cat mother seems to be very happy and satisfied with her offsprng.
I hope, that you will find good homes for them when the time has come. I would love to watch the development of the babies, if you dont mind posting the pictures.
the 8:00 kitten is beautiful. Looks exactly like one that my mother had for 16 years that passed away within hte past 2 years. Misdiagnosed by a local vet for something that was treatable.
They are all beautiful Ronna. My Bonnie(rescued from work) had six after I brought her home 2 years ago this month. The kittens weren't born until March though. I was fortunate enough to have found homes for 5 of them and kept the first born for myslef.
Good luck raising them and I hope you can placec all of them in loving homes. So many helpless animals are just tossed out like trash and never cared for or loved by anyone, and they show just as much in rerturn if you just give them the chance to do it.
This is my moms cat Sonny the one who passed awy.
Told you he looked like your little 8:00 baby.
okay Ronna I want the orange one with the white face is it a bOy? how much does it cost to mail a cat? oh wait just e-mail it to me that would be cheaper....
No really I am really wanting a orange tabby, wish i lived closer they are cuties.

So cute kitten!
Thanks, y'all. I will definitely keep taking pictures! The little cream one ACTS like a piglet, too! That one & the darkest one nurse ALL the time. I don't know yet which ones are boys and which are girls. Katie will let me pet them and pick them up IF they don't squeal. I managed to weigh each one a few hours after they were born, but one of them cried and she jumped up on the counter, took the baby by the scruff of the neck, jumped down and put it back in the basket. I've been careful not to upset her since then. She trusts me, and I don't want that to change. She came to me when she went into labor, and wanted me to be with her while she had the babies.
Gosh, Katie is such a pretty cat. Wish I had one just like her. Kittens are adorable. I'm sure you will find good homes for them. Who couldn't want something that cute....
Really Brugie! I have 4 myself and would adopt more if my DH were reasonable about it! LOL
Oh well, I have 13 (last count) since I manage to attract the strays..always room for one more, far as I'm concerned. Especially when one considered the alternative.
What color blooms do you get when they are planted. Just kidding they are very cute.
They're precious, Ronna! Poor mama... six is a lot! I bet she's relieved to have it over. I had a mother cat deliver six babies once. Wait till those little ones start running around and raising cain! You'll have your hands full :)
I've never seen newborn kittens! What a treat to have you share them online with us :) They are so tiny! Very cool! I do hope they all find loving homes :)
They are so sweet, I bet you can't wait till they open their eyes and start toddling around on their little rubbery legs. Post pix then, for sure.
I still want that kitty Ronna, I an trying to work out my husband a trip to Oklahoma so he can pick it up hummm he has went through that state once on a haul but I can't remember where he was going to or coming from.... They are precious
