B. Goldenlady

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

I am so excited that this brugmansia opened for me finally. I am wondering if the skirt usually drops down more and is more yellow. We have already had nights down around 36 degree's so I wasn't sure if that would keep the flowers lighter in color.

I want to add that this plant was a gift to me from Kell.
I kept it in a pot this year because I was pretty sure I
would be moving. Next week all the plants will be moved to the new house. But I want to say thank you so much Kell, This is one of my very favorites.

She is a beauty. One of my favorites and a good bloomer to boot.

Susie should get the credit Patricia!

What a beauty! I could never get mine to be yellow, mine are always creamy. This one is a great mom too! Pods so easily.

Your picture is a beaut Patricia!

She is awesome. I love her to. My blooms have been open like yours and also stuffed looking.

I saw this blooming in Meiyu's yard and it was beautiful, but it was cream, not yellow. At that time our temperatures were still running in the high 80's, so don't think it is the cool temps.

While on the subject of yellows, is there a double yellow?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I just went to the garage to check my bucket of cutting material and I don't have a single white cutting in there or I'd have sent it to you.
Tiara is a double yellow I believe and our own Glory hybridized one that bloomed double yellow this year. Probably more, but I'm not up on them.

I think Meiyu has Tiera. I'll have to pay her another visit. lol

Going down stairs to push my cutting closer to the light!

I think I'm getting dyslexic in my old age. I just noticed how I spelled Tiara. Oh well, it's just pretty no matter how it's spelled. lol

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

You may have it spelled right and my spelling might be wrong. I never pay any attention to those things.

Golden Lady is a beauty! Your picture is very pretty!

Is B.Golden Lady the same as just the Golden Lady, what does the "B" stand for. Does this one have fuzzy leaves also?

Edited to say Jerodsmom and DonnaB, the pictures are lovely, good job :-)

One of my very favourite brugmansias.
I just love this one. Seems it never quits blooming.
Always at least one flower blooming.
The flower center turns golden here.
Skirt does not drop on Golden Lady.

Ya think???? lol

Yes the B. stood for brugmansia.
