Hi everyone! Have rebounded slightly from my recent diet doldrums. I am reading a new book, called South Beach Diet. Has a lot in common with other diets, recognizing the important of fats in our diet. It's also something "new", something to increase my enthusiasm. I'm trying to figure out all of the differences between this and Atkins - how this compares with some other diets like "WW", etc.
The bad/accurate scale is up .2 pounds for the day, BUT, body fat index is down a percentage. I'm really liking this feature - it helps differentiate days where weight gain is water vs. true weight gain. What this tells me, the .2 pounds is clearly from water, not weight gain. Had the weight gone up and the body fat stayed the same, that would be bad.
A reminder - please folks, if you're not participating in a challenge, or have never started a thread before - feel free to one if you don't see one for the day.
Here's to a wonderful Sunday for everyone. We are well below freezing today - time to finish raking up the leaves and get a head-start on mulching.
