Hi I am posting this here as well as the seed trading forum, so if anyone is interested in a trade please let me know. I just today gathered a canoe load full of these seed. Beautiful yellow and wonderfully scented!! Nelumbo lutea. I am looking for some other colors of lotus seed, if anyone has any to trade please let me know.

I put in a pond for the elderly couple that I care for and need some plants for it. It is a very small pond but need some plants for the fish to hide under. How do I get some of the water Lotus started. You said you have seeds but do you plant them in pots and then put them in the pond?
I know this sounds dumb but I do not know anything about the plants for a pond. I have looked at the stores and the plants are very expensive to buy and have not seen any like these before. Could you help me on this would appreciate it very much.
