Oriental Lily

Clatskanie, OR(Zone 8a)

Can anyone name this lily by looking at it. I have lost the name and my memory (haha). I thought they had died out due to being tilled under while growing, but they made it.
Thanks
Carl

clblunkjr-- Good evening-- I bought what was suppose to be casa
blancas and other lillies from a company---that will go unmemtioned---the casa blancas bloomed just like that bloom and I knew it wasn't the blancas. Unfortunately every bulb I ordered from the company turned out to be the wrong kind. I hope you can find the name of this one so we will both know---Tracy

Hi Tracy,
I didn't mention but these Oreintals has a very strong fragrance just like the Casa Blancas. In fact I you could not see them you would think they are Casa Blancas.

They look like they could be a parent of the casa blancas---or mine do--- I wonder if we got a bulb from a bad gene? I love mine but they are not the Casa Blanca like I wanted! what about you? Tracy

I agree it is not white---- I love the way you have them in raised beds--- we have moles and voles so bad here so I have been looking for a way to keep my bulbs! I just started planting them in wire cages! I am beginning to wonder if I need to stock up on dynamite!!!! haha! Tracy
