A few fall blooms I wanna share.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

I am in aww of my brugs right now. They are putting on one heck of a good show! Seems everyone of them is full of blooms and buds still waiting to open.
I've never had a flush like this before, I just can't get enough of them eaither.

Hello, My name is Mollybee and I am addicted to brugs :)

Gosh, all of your pictures are just gorgeous. I'm so glad you are having a great time with your brugs.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

:D mee too! Everything else in the garden is gone for the winter..but its almost like my brugs are just now starting to take off!
I even have the one called C Pink that only has 4 whisker things on it.
I love watching the color change too.
Thanks to everyone that has ever sent me cuttings :)

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

How lucky to have so many beautiful blooms this time of year.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Enjoyed your pics, thanks for sharing.

Rock Hill, SC(Zone 8a)

Mollybee, great flowers. Guess what, I have flowers this afternoon, for the first time. I was getting worried if I would see them this year. But nothing like yours, this year, lol. I'm learning.

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Way to go girl! What are their names?

I agree this sure is a fun time of the year, can't help but wonder if it's BECAUSE we've stopped worrying and feeding!
Wish someone would confess their success with neglect, lol!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Ahhh yes Neglect is exactly the reason I have these beautiful blooms right now. I only fed them many once or twice all summer, and when I didn't see any buds forming I gave up on it. Guess it paid off huh??

I know I have a couple of Sunrays, and a Twisted Sister and one called C Pink, a Dr Suess, most of the other ones are the ones that start off a light yellow and then turn white.
There is one white one in the first pic that is soo big! I mean that one bloom is huge! Would almost cover my face!
The smell out there on the porch tonight is heavenly!!!!!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

This is the one called C Pink and it only has 4 whiskers(please excuse the lame words I don't know the proper name for those things LOL)

Is your big white one the Twisted Sis?

Which has the best smell? Any descriptions are most welcome!

I sure wish I new more about "Candida", sometimes it's hard to find enough info to feed my poor brain :( I did learn that whiskers are called tendrils, lol!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Nope this is the Twisted Sister one.
It is more on the yellow side than anything.
Most all of mine came from Larry(Daturapod) and were all just cuttings this time last year.
Guess you could say it took a full year to bloom.

The smell.....o girl its just so undescribable!! I am sitting in my living room and the brugs are on the other end of the house I'd guess it is about 100'long and I can smell them coming thru the window. My bedroom is on that same end of the house as they are planted right out side the window and it is the best smell!!!! To have sooo many in bloom right now is unreal. The smell is very heavy and thick but wonderful all at the same time!!
Can almost get drunk off the smell LOL

All are very pretty Molly. Congrats.

Austell, GA(Zone 7a)

Looking good Mollybee. I guess we have been bit by the brug bug, huh? I seem to be infecting all my friends and coworkers too!!

Commerce, GA(Zone 8a)

Molly, These are Beautiful!I hope I have half as good luck with my Brugs! You must have a very GREEN thumb!LOL

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Thanks DonnaB

Yep Brenda I am the same way. I have been asking everyone if they want cuttings when I take them..I just can't think about not saving them when they are cut back! That is out of the question! LOL

GagalinFl, I bet you will have much better luck than I because your zone is much warmer! I think everyone should have at least 1 brug don't you?? That is enough to make ya want one of each!

Knoxville, TN(Zone 7a)

Molly, I think that the brugs put on their final showing late in the autumn, so that we will be inspired to take care of our cuttings during the winter. I guess you could say that it's a higher form of self preservation!

Enjoy! Nat

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Thats a good way to look at it. True too now that I think about it.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

They are very pretty Mollybee. You are lucky to have a mild climate and may enjoy the flowers much longer as we can in our cooler regions.
