last one..Meet Susanne

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I have to say this is my favorite of the bunch, so I named it after Susie, these were all her beautiful creations. So till next season, this is the last that I have to post that you haven't seen. It is glorious, so large, smells wonderful.

Oh my Tracey, what a big beauty you have there. It is so interesting seeing you post so many beauties of diffferent sizes and shapes and colors this year. I sure hate to see this come to an end for this year. I know that Susie will be so honored to have such a beautiful brug named after her. Indeed she had created many beautiful and unique ones and I have to say that Susanne is a pretty as Susie is inside and out.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Congrats to you, it's very pretty.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

You know I just love the name Susanne! In fact I have loved all your names. This one is so huge. So pink and so huge. LOL

I would say everyone who has posted new hybrids had a very pink year this year and congrats to you all!!! I am still waiting on my bruglings to open their buds. We are getting a huge flurry of storms here starting tomorrow so I do not know if I will have any buds left. So I sure appreciate being able to share in everyone else's excitement over their creations.

Wow what a beauty.

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

Beautiful flower Tracey!
I can only hope that when i start spreading pollen next year that i'll get some half as pretty as the ones you've been posting.

I don't mind sharing what i'll be working with here. Besides what are the chances of somone making the same crosess and coming up with an identical flower?

SLIM TO NONE!!!

This is the names i'll be using for hybridizing in '04.

Rosamod--Rothkirch--L'Amour--Butterfly--Pink Beauty--Creamsickle--Ecuador Pink and maybe one or two more but as of yet undecided on that.

Austell, GA(Zone 7a)

Tracey,

What a beauty and named for a real sweetie!!

Mukwonago, WI(Zone 5a)

What a beautiful brug, Tracey! Both you and Susie have created some wonderful new brugs. Congrats to both of you.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

This one is very pretty and I love the name you have chosen!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Perfect!!!!!!

And you do Susie proud!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Wow I can't belive I missed this. You holding out on us and saving the best for last? Its awesome! I love the name too.You and Susie have sure had some beauties this year.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Thank you, thank you. I think I saved the best for last. It has been so beautiful this year, and the shear size of the blooms amazed me. EPink has always been my favorite, then I got a chance to grow out Kyle's Pink, and it was not without blooms this year. Then when this one opened, I was just amazed. When Susie said that it had always been her dream cross, well I couldn't think of a better name than hers for it to carry. I think when it gets released you all will love it! Next year Peggy we will name one after You, Roz, Dee, and Me!

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Awwww TLynn.. Thats so thoughtful of you, to name more brugs like that. Im glad the cross came out so beautiful! Wont that be amazing when younger people actually will look up information on the internet about brugs, and there you all will be! How fun. :o) Congratulations again.

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Unreal color, size, shape and fragrance too, how excited you must be.

You make me feel so guilty Tracey!!! LOL
Hey guys, I still may get a hot one or two from a Susie seed..........and then we can name them for you guys!!!
XX OO

Homestead, FL(Zone 10b)

A beautiful flower, named for a beautiful person. What a fitting tribute to Susie.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

A gorgeous flower, and a very fitting name. A special brug for a special gal.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

See the number of views on this thread? Well about 20 of them are mine. I keep coming back for another look. I really love this brug. The name is nice since Susie has hybridized so many new ones this year, but you could have named it MUDD and I would have loved it. The USA brug hybridizers/growers should be really proud of each others accomplishments this year.

Auburn, WA(Zone 8b)

Tracey, That is so gorgeous! I'm with Brugie - I just can't stop looking at your pictures. You've had spectacular results this year. Hopefully, I'll be able to get cuttings in a couple years when they are available.

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

This has been such a wild week, I just got a moment to look. lol

Tracey, this is really pretty. I will be wanting to grow this down the line.
You are so good to name in honour of Susie (o:

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I can't stop looking at her either. Trying to decide what I want to do with this one, pollen wise I mean. Thanks Alice, I am sure a little birdie will drop one at your house.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Beautiful, I love the shape of the flowers and of course that color is just gorgeous.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Do you have already choosen a pollinator? MO sounds like you have winter like we have in Middle Europe.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Well I guess that solves that problem! Thanks Kell! I will be so glad when I have this one and you all don't have to keep saving pollen for me.
