I can send five seeds of my Japanese Tree Lilac (Syringa reticulata) for a SASE with .37 postage attached. USA only please.
Japanese Tree Lilacs are deciduous and get white, scented flowers in June. The picture below is my lilac taken this September. I grew it from seed myself. It is almost eleven years old, and started blooming about two years ago. It is hardy at least to cold zone five and has withstood below zero temps and high wind. My tree is about 10-12' tall, and I try to prune it every other year or two to shape it.
I don't remember exactly what I did to germinate the seed, but I do remember it wasn't that difficult.
Japanese Tree Lilac Seeds for SASE
I'd like to give it a try, though most Lilacs don't get quite enough chill here to do well. Will email you for address.
