htop, you have some of the most magnificent flowers and wonderful pictures. Thanks for the eye treats!

I have a four year old mutabilis that is at least eight feet tall and ten feet wide. When it is covered with blooms, it is a slight to behold. No one can believe that a rose bush can get that large. I am going to have to prune it back in February - it's just getting too large. It is a wonderful plant!

patp, your welcome. Thank you for the compliments. It pleases me that I can share beautiful plants with others on this database. This plant is actually in a neighbor's yard, but I get to enjoy it. It is now being used more by landscapers throughout the city. It is a rose that requires little care. If you have never seen it, it is hard to imagine. Although the roses are not large, there are many and the mult-colors on the same bush always amazes me.

clantonnaomi, wow, that is a huge plant for only being 4 years old. It is so beautiful it is difficult to describe, isn't it. That's why I just had to upload photos of some of the different colored blooms to do it justice. My neighorbor's is past her rooftop now. At a school campus, I saw one the was left to grow on its own and it appeared to be about 10 feet wide also. I am 5' 7" tall and I could not reach the top of it. I wished I had a large enough space in my yard to have one of my own where it could grow naturally. Guess I could chop down some oak trees! Thanks for your comments.

Beautiful flowers and so many colors on one plant! And such huge roses are beyond my imagination! They would be a wonder to see. Thanks for the pictures.

The roses are only about a half dollar or a little bigger in size. I was just really close to them when I took this photo. But the plant blooms profusely so it is usually covered in roses. It is a continuous bloomer also. Thanks for your comments.
