I haven't had a chance to get on the computer all weekend until now, between birthday and cats! We had two of our four kittens 'fixed' yesterday, their mom was scheduled to be spayed as well, until I noticed that she was looking fat all of a sudden. She's VERY pregnant, her belly measured 18 1/2" yesterday. It was 16" a week ago, and a lot smaller a week before that when I noticed how fat she was! This was taken today.

Pretty calico Ronna. I almost took one offered me yesterday from a local farm, but at the last minute decided I would wait for the dog I'm looking for instead. I love cats too, but Jim prefers a dog that will respond when he talks to it. LOL!!

I'm still on kitten watch, thought that they would be born by now, but not yet. I will definitely post pictures of the babies! We rescued Katie and her four kittens the middle of August with plans to spay and neuter them as soon as she quit nursing them. She nursed them until they were about four months old, and managed to get pregnant again before we could get her spayed. I had called my vet, and a bunch of others, most wouldn't operate until the kittens were six months old, I did find one that would do it on kittens that weighed four pounds (all but Brianna weighed that much). I finally made arragements through PAWS, but they could only take two at a time. Scout & Callie had their surgery on Saturday, and Emily & Brianna will go in for theirs on November 15.
