Time to move the plants to deeper water, as it is getting a bit chilly here in New Hampshire...I've lowered the water about a foot so that I could reach and clean up some of the gunk on the bottom.
One of my plants was on its side with most of the gravel-soil spilled and that made me wonder if this is a good time to repot the other plants as well...and what is the favorite medium to repot with. In the past I just used soil from the garden and than a layer of gravel.
Should I continue this way?

I separate and repot in the very early Spring. I try to use the Aquatic Soil...not the stuff that's like kitty litter so if I was you I'd continue to use your garden soil. If it works, don't mess with it. :)
