Oh my gosh!!!That is incredible. You wouldnt happen to have seeds, would you? I must have this!!!!
What a wonderful plant! You "done" good! Isn't it amazing what grows from a little bitty seed sometimes! I'll bet you have really enjoyed watching her grow. Thanks for the picture. Awesome!
Gosh, thank you (blush)...
Unfortunately, I never saw seeds on it and so never got any before frost got my beautiful plant. I just read recently that you have to wrap the flower heads at the end of summer and let the seed fall into the wrapping. Anyway..here is a link to the company where I sent for these seeds last year. They were easy to sprout from seed in those peat pellet trays, but I will warn you they were a LOOONNGG time growing before they took off. I started them in March, put the little 2" plantlings out in the garden in early May - but we did have a cold, rainy Spring and early summer here and they did not really start growing until late June and then VAVOOM it took off and by late July the top bracts took on that incredible tri-color. It stayed bright and beautiful right up till frost. I gave the other plantlings away to relatives last Spring and theirs all did well too.
Here's the link, well worth the couple bucks to buy and grow them...

Thanks for the link to the seeds. I'll probably order some. It's in the "border" category there. Wouldn't those make a stunning border!
