I typed in the words seed trading in a search engine and found this site---- I know it is late in the season to trade plants but I have some still available--- I would love to find some bulb I could trade perennials or a handmade garden sign from cedar!!!! I have lots of seeds I have freshly collected and would love to find some different varieties--- Hope I can find some people to trade with--- Now a little about myself---- I am a third year college student and am currently landscaping my property--- willed to me from my grandmother-- very fortunate!!!! IF you have seeds to trade or
plants give me a email- Tracy

Welcome bloomluver. I am a new member of this site too. I agree with you that it is a wonderful site. Dave did a wonderful thing when he created this site.
I have to have that outside time too. I just go outside in the morning when i leave and walk around some before getting in the truck and it is like a tranquilizer for me. It is so serene.
You are so fortunate to have the property your grandmom willed to you. Keep it as long as possible if not forever. Most people arenot so blessed as you are.
As i get seed to trade with everyone i will post something here and let everyone know. Take care, Robbie

Oooooooh! What a lovely garden!!!!! Welcome bloomluver! I'm from the north of England - your garden looks amazingly like an English country garden!!!!

Central, AR(Zone 7b)

Northerner--- Thanks so much! One day I hope to have a country cottage garden! Tracy

Middlesbrough, United Kingdom

I've got just the country cottage for you Tracy! It's a well-known thatched cottage in the village of Thornton-le-Dale on the North York Moors. The Moors are south of where I live. I took this photo on a day out earlier this year. The village is often called the prettiest in North Yorkshire, and this cottage of used for photos on front of boxes of chocolates, biscuits, calendars etc. I could see you living here!

Central, AR(Zone 7b)

Boy wouldn't that be Great!!!! I will just move there and open the Bed and Breakfast and then everyone could bring their favorite plant to place in the garden--- I would plant Echinacea--- What would you plant? I have got to add this to my things to do list!!!! hahahaha---

There is a gorgeous garden too - this photo was taken in the spring before the garden was at its best. I took some photos later in the summer - don't have them on me today. I expect it must become tiring have loads of day-trippers swarming outside your doorstep, photographing your home.

This house is pretty expensive - it was sold not too long ago - a year or two ago. The new owners have had trouble with their next-door neighbour though - she objected to them putting up some aerials and she put a garden hose through to their attic - it was a court case. Even in Paradise there was a serpent!!!!

I hope you enjoy Dave's!

I put up photos of the North York Moors occasionally - I go on jaunts at the weekends. Most of my jaunts are over for the season now though, as autumn is heading for winter. Storms on their way over England!

I can't believe someone would do that! God bless the new owners! It is a beautiful place. I have a teen age daughter who would love to live in England. But mom says no way--(no offense) but that is a little too far to come home on the weekends. But she is "addicted" to England and Ireland. Tracy

What a pretty place! Thanks for sharing that with us.
